Murdered

On February 7, 2017, 57-year-old Ronald James "Ron" Rechtzigel of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, died in an accidental shooting near Edgeley, North Dakota, while coyote hunting. LaMoure County Sheriff Bob Fernandes reported that Rechtzigel was with two other hunters in poor weather conditions at the time of the incident. Authorities did not specify whether Rechtzigel was shot by another hunter or if he accidentally shot himself.
