In the early morning hours of July 29, 2022, a dispute over money in Glen Ullin, North Dakota, turned fatal, ending the life of 26-year-old Mathew Ward. Mathew, a White male, was shot in the left side of his chest with a 22-caliber handgun during an argument. Although emergency services were called, he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to the hospital.
