Clifton Wendell Marsh, a 69-year-old male from Hope, Michigan, had set out on September 29, 1981, with aspirations of a fishing trip in the scenic landscapes of British Columbia, Canada. His travels, however, would come to a mysterious and violent end in the heart of North Dakota.
