Clifton Marsh, a 69-year-old man from Michigan, was found murdered on October 1, 1981, near Devils Lake, North Dakota. Marsh had left his home in Hope, Michigan, on September 29, 1981, intending to travel to British Columbia, Canada, for a fishing trip. However, his journey was abruptly and tragically cut short.
