On April 25, 2016, Hawaii Police Department officers responded to a 911 call from a man reporting a shooting in Ocean View. The caller, later identified as 46-year-old Jonathan Watson, claimed to have been shot. When officers arrived at the scene, Watson emerged from the house with a bandage on his leg.
