On May 24, 2021, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Honolulu Police Department officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots in the area of Paakea Road and Hakimo Road in Waianae, Hawaii. Upon arrival, they discovered a male, later identified as 46-year-old Jonah Ongory, lying lifeless on the roadway. He had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
