On March 26, 1986, in Anniston, Alabama, 41-year-old Evelyn Caine Blackmon and her husband, 76-year-old Fred Blackmon, were victims of a brutal crime. Two men, William Glen Boyd and Robert Milstead, entered the Blackmons' home under the pretense of having kidnapped their daughter, demanding money for her release.
