On April 12, 2008, 17-year-old Brandon Ashley Donkor, a student at A.H. Parker High School in Birmingham, Alabama, was found dead in his car after it crashed into the pool house at Dorothy Spears Park. Investigations revealed that Donkor had been fatally shot prior to the crash.
