On March 10, 2009, 15-year-old Dean James Wise of Samson, Alabama, was tragically killed during a mass shooting that claimed multiple lives. Dean, a ninth-grade student at Samson High School, was visiting his grandfather's home on West Pullum Street when the incident occurred.
