Death by Force

On December 29, 2009, 20-year-old Michael McIntyre, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, was fatally shot by local police officers. The incident occurred when officers were serving a warrant at an apartment complex where McIntyre was visiting a friend. Although McIntyre was not the subject of the warrant and had no outstanding warrants against him, he fled the scene upon the officers' arrival.
