On May 15, 2012, 27-year-old Hunter Daniel Grissom was fatally shot by his ex-wife, Tracey Grissom, at the 43 Boat Landing in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Tracey Grissom approached Hunter, who was at the boat landing, and shot him four times, with two bullets striking him in the back.
