In the quiet, heavily wooded landscape near Smith Lake in Crane Hill, Alabama, a day of hunting among family and friends took a tragic turn, ending the life of 37-year-old Thomas Aaron Tucker Jr. The events of that Sunday afternoon, January 26, 2014, unfolded in a secluded area near the Smith Lake RV Resort, a place not easily accessible, where a group of seven had traveled by boat to hunt deer.
