On May 13, 2021, at approximately 11:00 p.m., 46-year-old Leroy Riles Jr. was fatally struck by a vehicle while walking in the 10 block of 24th Avenue NW in Center Point, Alabama. The driver fled the scene, leaving Riles unresponsive near the 2400 block of Center Point Parkway, where he was pronounced dead by authorities.
