In the summer of 2023, the quiet community of Slocomb, Alabama, was unsettled by the violent death of a young man. On the second of July, the body of 26-year-old Christopher George Knight, a Caucasian male, was discovered in the front yard of his residence on Post Oak Road. He had been shot multiple times in the chest.
