On April 25, 2015, in Slocomb, Alabama, 28-year-old Demetrious Fryer was fatally shot on Mulberry Street. The incident occurred during the night, prompting a response from Slocomb Police and Slocomb Rescue units. Upon arrival, authorities confirmed Fryer's death at the scene.
