In the late summer of 2024, the quiet community of Slocomb, Alabama, was rocked by the grim discovery of the remains of 41-year-old Benito Morales Guzman. A concerned employer had reported him missing on August 27th after he failed to show up for work. This report led Geneva County Sheriff's deputies to Guzman's residence in the Fadette area, a home he shared with his 26-year-old partner, Joselina Elizabeth Lopez.
