Durrell Bruce, a 27-year-old African American male from Montgomery, Alabama, tragically lost his life on August 21, 2014. The incident occurred in the afternoon, prompting an immediate response from local authorities. Police and fire medics were dispatched to Claudette Colvin Drive and Marie James Court around 3:50 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
