In the quiet town of Trinity, Alabama, the life of Adrian Wray, a 44-year-old Black / African American male, came to a tragic end on September 14, 2014. Known affectionately as "Rudy" to his friends and family, Wray was a former athlete who had played football, basketball, and track at Austin High School and went on to play football at Jacksonville State University and Murray State. After his athletic career, he worked as a self-employed contractor for over a decade in nearby Decatur.
