In the winter of 2016, a 31-year-old Washington, D.C. man named Kenneth Edward Morris Jr. was tragically killed just two days before Christmas. On the evening of Friday, December 23rd, Morris was driving his Nissan Altima in the 4100 block of East Capitol Street Southeast when his vehicle was violently struck from behind. The force of the impact caused his car to spin out of control, hitting a tree and another vehicle.
