Paul Phillips, a 68-year-old male pastor, was killed at the Book of Acts Holiness Church. His life was cut short by a fatal gunshot wound from a shotgun. The man responsible for Phillips' death was his own son-in-law, Brett Richard Yeiter. Following the altercation at the church located just north of the Florida line, Yeiter fled the scene. A manhunt ensued, and a few days later, law enforcement located and apprehended him.
