Mark W. Benefield, born on April 19, 1951, in Jacksonville, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2015, at the age of 63. He was the son of Mark and Eileen Benefield of Leeds, Alabama, and had four sisters: Rev. Cherie Chapman of Fort Myers, Florida; Marsha Cruce (Carl Cruce) of Florahome, Florida; Carol Pierce (Manning Pierce) of Minor Hill, Tennessee; and Lanice Norton (Orea Norton) of Hazel Green, Alabama.
