On February 21, 2015, in Elkmont, Alabama, 53-year-old Gary Leon Cox was fatally shot during an argument with his girlfriend, 50-year-old dog groomer, Lisa Ann Graham. The dispute reportedly began over a dog, escalating to the point where Graham retrieved a firearm and shot Cox. Following the incident, Graham was arrested and charged with murder.
