Nyameka Malindi-Bell, a 32-year-old woman originally from South Africa, vanished from her home in Evanston, Illinois, under perplexing circumstances. On November 27, 2015, she reportedly left for a scheduled work assignment and never returned. Her disappearance would not be officially reported to the Evanston Police Department for nearly a year.
