Mary Ann Hutchinson, a twenty-one-year-old mother, vanished from Evanston, Illinois, during the summer of 1979. She was last seen on July 19th of that year. Three days later, on July 22, 1979, her mother, Jane Hutchinson, officially reported her as missing to the Evanston Police Department. At the time of her disappearance, Mary Ann was described as a Black female with black hair, standing five feet tall and weighing approximately 98 pounds. She was a mother to a five-year-old daughter.
