In the late hours of a summer night in Washington, D.C., the life of Keenan Denzel Woods was tragically cut short. On Saturday, August 23, 2008, at approximately 11:38 pm, gunshots echoed in the 1200 block of Holbrook Terrace, NE. When the sounds faded, Woods had been fatally shot. The Metropolitan Police Department was called to the scene and immediately began an investigation into the violent end of a young life.
