On August 26, 2008, John Skinner, age 56, was found dead in an alley located in the 1700 block of U Street, SE, Washington, D.C. The incident was reported early in the morning at approximately 7:00 AM. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene and has since been investigating the case as a homicide.
