On June 22, 2016, in Albertville, Alabama, 43-year-old Brian Comer Hilley was fatally shot during an altercation with his brother, 57-year-old Jerry Keith Hilley. The incident occurred at a residence on Meadowbrook Drive, where officers discovered Brian deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. A shotgun, believed to be the weapon used, was recovered at the scene.
