In the early morning hours of Friday, October 3, 2008, a life was tragically cut short in the nation's capital. Inside an apartment at 1431 Holbrook Place in Northeast Washington, D.C., Andre Judd was shot and killed. The incident, which occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m., prompted an immediate response from the Metropolitan Police Department.
The case was assigned to the department's Homicide and Sexual Offenses Branch, which launched a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Detectives began the arduous process of gathering evidence and seeking out any potential witnesses who might have seen or heard something that could lead them to the person or persons responsible for Andre Judd's death.
To date, the investigation remains open and active.
The Metropolitan Police Department continues to seek assistance from the public, offering a reward of up to $25,000 for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals involved in the homicide.
