Dimitri Boykins, a 19-year-old from Washington, D.C., was tragically killed on October 29, 2008. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 5700 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue NE, just after 3 p.m. Despite the rapid response by law enforcement and emergency services, he was pronounced dead at 3:33 p.m. Boykins lived in the 200 block of 37th Street, SE.
