Death by Force

On August 10, 2016, William Lassiter Jr., a 52-year-old resident of Washington, D.C., was shot and killed in the 900 block of Mount Olivet Road, NE. The incident took place around 1:47 am when Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to reports of a gunshot in the area. Upon their arrival, they discovered Lassiter with apparent gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
