In the small town of Oakman, Alabama, the life of 32-year-old Lyle Guthrie was tragically cut short on the evening of September 20, 2016. Guthrie, a man remembered by friends and family as a quiet yet well-liked individual, was fatally shot after he discovered two men burglarizing his home.
