Tyler Sasser, a 41-year-old man from Montgomery, Alabama, was fatally shot on October 5, 2016, in an incident that left his family and the community grappling with the loss. Sasser was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 1000 block of Sayre Street in Montgomery, a residential area. Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of the shooting, and Sasser was transported to a nearby hospital.
