On November 2, 2016, 65-year-old white female Joyce Ann Brown Good was fatally shot in her home on Aderholt Street in Glencoe, Alabama. Her boyfriend, 62-year-old Jimmie Ray Lively, was also killed in the same incident. The tragedy unfolded during a domestic dispute involving her son, 43-year-old Jeremy James Jerry.
