Joshua Poole, a 36-year-old man from Theodore, Alabama, was found dead on July 26, 2017, in what authorities later confirmed was a homicide. Poole was discovered in a remote area near the 2000 block of Bellingrath Road in Theodore, a community in Mobile County, after law enforcement responded to a 911 call reporting the discovery of a body. Investigators found that Poole had been shot multiple times, leading them to quickly categorize the death as a murder.
