On January 21, 2018, 38-year-old Carlos L. Stacy was fatally shot on Joe Carl Road in Theodore, Alabama. The incident occurred near a local church during its service hours, leading to multiple gunshots being heard by congregants. Witnesses reported that Stacy and another individual were conversing without any apparent conflict before the shooting transpired.
