In the early morning hours of August 12, 2009, the life of 19-year-old Charles Williams, known as 'Lil Gus,' was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The incident occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. behind a residential building at 2329 Calvin Woodland, Sr. Place, SE in Washington, D.C. Williams was struck multiple times and was rushed to a nearby hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Another individual was also wounded in the leg during the shooting but survived.
