Late on the night of September 24, 2017, Rodrequis Antwon Green, a 26-year-old Black / African American male, arrived at the Chevron on Lloyd Noland Parkway in Fairfield, Alabama, expecting nothing more dramatic than an ordinary stop under bright lights and open sky. Instead, just before 11:00 p.m., gunfire shattered the routine.
