On October 25, 2017, 22-year-old Ja'von Banks and his friend, Ladarious Lymon, also 22, were found deceased in a vehicle on Airport Road near Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Greenville, Alabama. Both men had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, leading authorities to classify the incident as a double homicide.
