Death by Force

On November 13, 2017, 32-year-old Matthew Lamar Virges was fatally shot at his residence on Sunrise Circle in Alpine, Alabama. The Talladega County Coroner confirmed his death, noting that Virges was a victim of gun violence.

Virges was survived by his two children, parents, and two brothers. His funeral service was held on November 20, 2017, at Saint Campbell Baptist Church in Sylacauga, Alabama, with burial following at the church cemetery.
