In the fading afternoon light of January 6, 2025, a burst of violence shattered the quiet of a North Las Vegas apartment complex. Jamar Landers, a 32-year-old Black / African American male, was found unresponsive, the victim of a critical gunshot wound to the head. The shooting took place near Webb Avenue and Stocker Street, leaving Landers in a desperate fight for his life. First responders rushed him to University Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.
