On January 18, 2018, 19-year-old Heather Parker was fatally shot in Piedmont, Alabama, by her father, Tony Parker. The incident occurred at Tony Parker's residence on Chinch Creek Road, where he also killed his 12-year-old son, Rusty Parker, and Heather's fiancé, 20-year-old Brandon Roberts. After the shootings, Tony Parker called 911 to report his actions and then drove to the Rabbittown Cafe, where he died by suicide.
