On February 8, 2018, in Talladega, Alabama, five-year-old Michael "MJ" Keith Swain tragically lost his life in an accidental shooting. Authorities responded to a call at approximately 7:30 a.m. and discovered the young boy suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to Citizens Brookwood Baptist Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead around 8:30 a.m.
