Terrence Wayne Scott, a 28-year-old man from Birmingham, Alabama, was fatally shot on June 28, 2018, in what was later confirmed to be a homicide. The shooting occurred in the early evening hours, when Birmingham police received reports of gunfire near the 400 block of 34th Street North. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Scott suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
