Death by Force

On July 25, 2018, 17-year-old Casey Nicole Kizer from Hoover, Alabama, was fatally shot in Sylacauga. That evening, Kizer and a group of friends visited Fleetwood Metals, where 24-year-old Owen Ladon Wallace was employed. An altercation ensued between Wallace and a male passenger in Kizer's vehicle, leading to gunfire that struck Kizer. Her friends transported her to Coosa Valley Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
