On September 17, 2018, 26-year-old Amber June Streitmatter was fatally shot in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. at a residence on A.C. Curry Street, where Streitmatter was found deceased in the garage. Witnesses reported that an argument had escalated between Streitmatter and 30-year-old Benjamin Andrew Davenport, leading to the shooting.
