On July 1, 2021, 40-year-old Jacinta McCaskey was fatally shot in Camden, Alabama. The incident occurred on the Camden Bypass, where Jacinta, her husband Jamichael McCaskey Sr., their son Jamichael Jr., and two of his friends were traveling together. Two individuals, identified as 19-year-old Cedric Tolar Jr. and 25-year-old Emanuel Hardley, both from Camden, allegedly approached the McCaskey family's vehicle and opened fire.
