In the summer of 2021, a tragic event unfolded in the small town of Camden, Alabama, forever altering the lives of one family. On the first of July, Jacinta McCaskey, a 40-year-old woman, was killed in a shooting. Her life was cut short in an act of violence that also left her husband wounded. The incident was not a random act of violence; authorities believe the shooting was gang-related and that the intended target was actually the couple's son.
