On November 4, 2018, nine-year-old Alyssa Brantley Davis tragically lost her life in Prattville, Alabama. The incident occurred around noon at a residence on Laurel Hill Drive in the Pine Level area. Alyssa, a fourth-grade student at Pine Level Elementary School, accidentally shot herself with a handgun. She was airlifted to Children's Hospital in Birmingham, where she was pronounced deceased from her injuries.
