On April 13, 2024, 35-year-old Melissa Sarah Bishop Banks was found dead in a suspected homicide in Prattville, Alabama. Melissa, a mother and longtime resident of the city, was reported missing by her family earlier in the day when she failed to return home after leaving work. Her body was discovered later that evening in a secluded area just outside of Prattville, sparking an immediate investigation by local authorities.
