On January 8, 2017, a tragic shooting occurred in Prattville, Alabama, resulting in the deaths of 44-year-old Elizabeth Anne Rousseau and her husband, 50-year-old Timothy John Rousseau. The incident also left Elizabeth's 24-year-old son, David Deramus, injured with a gunshot wound to the leg; he was expected to recover.
