On February 21, 2019, 28-year-old David Beck-Shank was fatally shot in Satsuma, Alabama. The incident occurred at a residence on Northgate Drive South, where Beck-Shank had gone to visit an acquaintance. While there, he became involved in an altercation with DJ Broadus, a friend of Michael Fletcher. Following the confrontation, Beck-Shank retreated to his vehicle.
