In the summer of 2019, the life of 23-year-old Devin Skyler Sandlin was tragically cut short in Bessemer, Alabama. On Tuesday, June 4, 2019, Sandlin, a male resident of the area, was discovered in the front yard of a residence with a fatal gunshot wound. His death was the result of what authorities believe was an attempted robbery of his paycheck. According to reports, Sandlin was with a group of people when someone tried to take his earnings.
